Beautiful xv11 century longere with over 200mtr sq living space we are situated 1 hr south easterly of la mans close to a town called La ferte Bernard. There are 3 swims with 2 being doubles all chipped barked and free draining so no mud when it rains.
We have a full license that allows days and night fishing.
The lake is spring fed from underground so does not suffer from dry summers, the level rarely drops but this also makes it a closed water for the fishing licensees.
We have a large wood and it supplies all our wood for fires and a great place to walk the dogs and the local wildlife enjoy it.
There is a veg plot and small orchard and we have some large fruit trees and walnut trees that give us a lot of fruit and nuts every year.
Nearest neighbors some 800 meters away and not overlooked by anyone and the property is reached by a long drive.
We have 2 villages close by where you can get the basic food requirements and large towns only 20 minutes drive away with big supermarkets, bars and restaurants.
We work with the biggest carp fishing Holiday Company in the uk and this year we have already 26 weeks booked and this has been the same in the 4 years we have been open. There is plenty of scope for more revenue as we close all winter and the local tourist office regularly contacts us with enquiries for the gite.
